Utilising functional blood reference ranges to determine disease risk and identify sub-clinical health problems before a pathological condition manifests. We are connected to pathology labs to assess one’s biochemistry needs.

The cost in conducting the lab tests are separate from the report. The cost of tests through Nutripath, Clinical Labs, etc, are determined by the labs.

The report: $80.

If you are a pensioner, on concession or a student, upload a photo of your card details when booking to redeem code 'PCS' to receive an ongoing 10% deduction off of consultations.

Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis

The functional approach to blood testing focuses on changes in your body's function rather than looking for disease. We use optimal physiological ranges instead of 'normal' population averages. This results in a more precise 'Functional Physiological Range.' It helps us spot issues within the 'normal' range that could indicate your body's systems are starting to struggle.

This approach enables us to detect shifts in your physiological function and identify what might be preventing you from reaching your best physiological, biochemical, and metabolic health. Unlike traditional methods, which examine each biomarker in isolation, Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis uses trends and relationships between biomarkers to uncover hidden risks and opportunities for improving your health.

What is FBCA?

A detailed analysis report will include health concerns that need the most support and their level of dysfunction, nutrient evaluation, and a visual and descriptive evaluation of the out-of-range biomarkers.

What is included in the FBCA report?

It is not required in the first consult, however it would be beneficial to provide blood test results (no more than 3 months old) to be able to build a clearer picture regarding your health concern.

If providing a blood test with more than 30 markers, you must include the FBCA report add-on when booking. If providing less than 30 markers, your test will just be quickly reviewed.

If providing an updated blood test, please include the following:

What type of testing do you offer?

We are connected with Nutripath, who are partners with Clinipath; as well as Clinical Labs.

Through Clinical Labs:
The practitioner will provide a form to the patient to take to any Clinical Labs establishment. If a kit is needed for a stool test, the process will be similar to Nutripath.

Through Nutripath:
The process involves the practitioner lodging the request; the lab contacting the patient for payment; then test kits are sent out via post. The patient is to collect the sample (urine, stool, saliva or hair) and post it back to the laboratory. Test results are sent directly to the practitioner and a follow-up consultation is required to discuss findings.

There are other labs, like RN Labs, that may be referred also, since each labs have their strengths in testing particular markers.

* The practitioner does not add extra cost to the tests. The cost is determined by the labs themselves.
